About

Receiving bodywork expands your ability to engage in the depth of feeling and richness of life that’s available to human beings.

In a state of tranquility one can more easily attune to thoughts, emotions, and see how they are woven into sensory experience. By connecting to your senses and understanding your personal patterns, the root cause of challenges can be treated. Becoming literate in the texture of your internal universe integrates the conscious mind and the wisdom of the body.

Melding awareness with deep relaxation creates space for lasting change and transformation. Within this space lives the potential to relieve discomfort, release disorder, and restore harmony. By caring for yourself this way, you become more available to living.

About Darcy

Darcy’s experience as a bodywork therapist began with studying Craniosacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute. Being introduced through this modality shaped her approach to all bodywork; she understands the foundational nature of the nervous system and the power in gentleness.

She earned her certificate in Massage Therapy at Northwestern Health Sciences University training in a collaborative environment alongside acupuncture and chiropractic students. At NWHSU she was educated in a variety of massage techniques and became versed in the architecture and functions of the human body.

She is certified in Dynamic Body Balancing under the direct instruction of Dr. Carol Phillips. Through this series of training, Darcy learned to blend Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy for the treatment of physical, emotional and spiritual trauma that may occur at any time in one’s life, including within the womb and through the birth process. She specializes in the care of pregnant women for ease of pregnancy and delivery as well as children to support healthy early development.

Darcy continued pursuing her interest in the subtle structures of anatomy with a certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. Her experience working with this “inner ocean” of the body has deepened her belief in the importance of the delicate, often overlooked aspects of our being.

If you have any questions, please contact Darcy by email or phone.
